For the first time in North American history, we are sending global workers from a post-Christian, post-missions context. Gen Z (born 1996-2010) is navigating emerging trends in culture, technology, and relationships that bring unique challenges and opportunities when serving in missions. This session provides a deeper understanding of generational trends today, and presents insights and strategies for encouraging and equipping the next generation of missionaries to thrive. Join Jolene Erlacher and Katy White, authors of the book Mobilizing Gen Z (William Carey Library Publishers, 2022), as they help us know how best to welcome and work with Gen Z on our teams and in our organizations.
